Agency

the capacity of an entity (a person or other entity) to act in, and influence, an artificial environment

Experiencer

another word for ‘user’ or ‘player’

Field of View (FOV)

the view that is visible to the experiencer 

while rotating their head from a fixed

body position

Gaze-Activated Content

when content e.g. the way actors within a scene behave, or the narrative, is directly impacted by the experiencer’s gaze

Hotspot

an interactive spot within the artificial experience that reveals more content

or options

Positional Audio

audio that is triggered based on the

position of the headset

Virtual Reality Sickness

is the feeling of general discomfort caused by experiencing virtual reality; also known as 

'motion sickness' or 'sim

WebVR

an emerging technology that aims to present virtual reality content in traditional web browsing interfaces

 

How To: Customize Each Room

 

Adding Navigational Hotspots

Select the room you want to provide access to and click the directional button in the corner of the image.

Click "Update Position," then move the hotspot 

to its preferred location. Click "Complete."

Adding Interactive Hotspots

Click the "Hotspot" button at the bottom of the web page. 

Select "Photos or Video" on the right side of the screen. This opens the File Manager. Select the desired item from the listed files.

To adjust the hotspot's size, use the scroll bar on the right side of the screen. Click "Stop," then "Play," to view the new size.

Use the "Override Destination Label" box to rename the hotspot.

The hotspot's size can be adjusted by using the "Size" scroll bar.
